TITLE: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING REIMBURSEMENT FROM CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE'S
ATTRIBUTABLE SHARE OF THE JEFFERSON COUNTY OPEN SPACE FUND FOR LAND
ACQUIRED AT 6363-65 WEST 35TH AVENUE IN WHEAT RIDGE FOR PARKS AND
OPEN SPACE PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council passed Resolution No. 707, Series of 1980,
entitled, "Resolution Authorizing Receipt and Open Contract (Commercial) with
First Baptist Church of Wheat Ridge to Purchase Property at W. 35th and Marshall
for Senior Center for a Total Price of $291,000", and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge passed Resolution
No. 708, entitled, "An Appropriation and Budget Transfer Resolution Appropriating
Funds for the Purchase of Property located at 6363-6365 W. 35th Avenue together
with Furnishings therein for Use as a Senior Center for a Total Purchase Price
of $291,000", and
WHEREAS, the land associated with this acquisition qualifies for
Jefferson County Open Space funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Wheat Ridge that the
Jefferson County Open Space officials reimburse the City of Wheat Ridge the
sum of $78,400 for land and $400 appraisal fees for the acquisition of the real
property located at 6363-65 West 35th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
