SERIES OF 1981
TITLE: RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE BY-LAWS OF
THE COLORADO INTERGOVERNMENTAL RISK SHARING AGENCY
(CIRSA)
WHEREAS, Colorado municipalities desire to provide a
Jo~nt self-insurance pool to prevent and reduce losses and
subsequent claims,
WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Insurance, State of Colorado
has approved formation of the Colorado Intergovernmental Risk
Sharing Agency (CIRSA),
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge desires to participate
as a member in the Colorado Intergovernmental Risk Sharing Agency,
WHEREAS, adoption of the By-Laws of CIRSA constitutes
an intergovernmental agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
A. The By-Laws of the Colorado Intergovernmental Risk
Sharing Agency (CIRSA) are hereby approved and adopted and the
City of Wheat Ridge shall become a member of CIRSA
DONE AND RESOLVED this 21stday of December, A.D., 1981.
