Series of 1982
TITLE: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH THE COLORADO
DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS FOR UPGRADING HIGHWAY/RAILROAD GRADE CROSSING
PROTECTION UNDER FEDERAL SECTION 203 PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the Colorado State Department of Highways has tendered a
contract to the City providing for project numbered RRP0006 (20) on the
Federal-Aid Urban System, and
WHEREAS, the Contract is offered under authority of Sections 43-1-106,
and 43-2-144, C.R.S. 1973, as amended, and
WHEREAS, the matching ratio for this Federal-aid project is 90%
Federal-aid funds to 10% City of Wheat Ridge funds, and the City of Wheat
Ridge has estimated the total cost of said work to be $80,000 and is prepared
to match Federal-aid with its share in the amount of $8,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Wheat Ridge, the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign the Contract on behalf of
the City with the Colorado Department of Highways as referenced in this
Resolution.
