TIT LE:
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF ~HEAT RIDGE TO ENTER
INTO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY Of
JEFfEHSON IIJ ORDER TO PROVIDE FOR THE PERFOHMANCE OF
CERTAIN DUTIES BY THE COUNTY CLERK.
~HER~AS, The City of Wheat Ridge and the County of
Jefferson have a common interest in the conduct of Municipal
elections and
WHEHEAS, it is in the best interest of the City of
Wheat Ridge to enter into the Intergovernmental Agreement which
is attached to this Resolution, and
WHEREAS, Section 14.2 of the Home Rule Charter of the
City of Wheat Ridge authorizes the City of Wheat Ridge, by
Hesolution, to enter into Intergovernmental Agreements,
NOW, THEREfORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ci ty Counc il of
the City of Wheat Ridge that the Intergovernmental Agreement
attached to this Resolution be approved, and the Mayor be
authorized to sign said Intergovernmental Agreement.
