TITLE: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON IN
ORDER TO TRANSFER TO JEFFERSON COUNTY THE ALLOCATION OF THE
CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, UNDER SECTION 29-4-803 OF COLORADO REVISED
STATUTES 1973, AS AMENDED, TO FINANCE MORTGAGE LOANS TO PROVIDE
MORE ADEQUATE RESIDENTIAL HOUSING FACILITIES FOR LOW AND MIDDLE
INCOME FAMILIES
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge and the County of Jefferson
have a common interest in providinq more adequate residential housing
facilities for low and middle income families in the City of Wheat
Ridge and County of Jefferson; and
Y~EREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Wheat Ridge
to enter into the intergovernmental agreement which is attached to
this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, Section 14.2 of the Home Rule Charter of the City of
Wheat Ridge authorizes the City of Wheat Ridge, by Resolution, to
enter into intergovernmental agreements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Wheat Ridge, that the intergovernmental agreement attached
to this Resolution be approved, and the Mayor be authorized to sign
said intergovernmental agreement.
