RESOLUTION NO. 1122
TITLE: A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO OPEN A
NEW BANK ACCOUNT FOR THE PURPOSE DESCRIBED BELOW:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge,
by Resolution 1105, authorized the intergovernmental agreement
with the State of Colorado, Department of Health, Alcohol and
Drug Abuse Division, for law enforcement assistance funds; and
WHEREAS, at the request of City Council, the Municipal
Judge increased court fees from $10.00 to $15.00, of which $1.00
is to be used specifically as the City's contribution to support
the Edgewater/Wheat Ridge Coalition, Inc. drug and alcohol aware-
ness program; and
WHEREAS, a separate bank account must be established to
facilitate the restricted use of these funds and funds which
may be received through community donations;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Wheat Ridge, that the City Treasurer be authorized
to open a new bank account for the purpose described above.
DONE AND RESOLVED this 14th day of November , 1988
