Series of 1989
TITLE: A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL SUMS OF MONEY IN
EXCESS OF AMOUNTS BUDGETED FOR THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE,
COLORADO FOR FISCAL YEAR 1989.
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge Annual Budget for the fiscal
year 1989 has been adopted through Resolution No. 1118 on the
24th day of October, 1988; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge received approval of a State
Grant in the amount of $14,710 for the Edgewater/Wheat Ridge
Coal ition not assured at the time of adoption of the 1989 budget:
A. For provision of alcohol and/or drug prevention,
intervention and/or treatment and rehabi I itation services, an
amount not to exceed $8,250; and
B. For provision of high risk youth prevention services, and
amount not to exceed $6,460; and
WHEREAS, it is estimated that $3,000 wil I be spent during budget
year 1989, with the remainder being spent during 1990.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Wheat Ridge, Colorado:
A . That the additional sum of $3,000 be appropriated for
expenditure in the General Fund, in 1989, for the purpose of
providing alcohol and/or drug prevention, interventaion and/or
treatment and rehabil itation service, and providing high risk
youth prevention services; and
B. That the 1989 total appropriation for the General Fund be
hereby increased from $9,010,971 to $9,013,971.
