RESOLUTION NO. 1176
Series of 1989
TITLE: A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE ANNUAL
BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1989.
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge Annual Budget for the fiscal
year 1989 has been adopted through Resolution No. 1118, on
October 24, 1988; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 1119, dated October 24, 1988 established
a contingency compensation program for employees of the City of
Wheat Ridge if sales tax revenues for fiscal year 1989 were
greater than budgeted; and
WHEREAS, as of this date, projected sales tax revenues will be
greater than the amount budgeted for 1989; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of the City of
Wheat Ridge to amend the 1989 Annual Budget by increasing the
budgeted revenues in the General Fund by $125,000, the maximum
amount established for said program as follows:

and; by increasing the budgeted expenditures in the General Fund
by $125,000 as follows:

WHEREAS, this amendment increases the 1989 General Fund budget to
$9,138,971 and the total City of Wheat Ridge budget as of this
transaction to $15,540,731.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Wheat Ridge, Colorado:
A. That the City of Wheat Ridge Annual Budget for the fiscal
year 1989 be amended as provided in this resolution; and
B. The State Division of Local Governments be notified of said
amendments as required by State Statute.
