SERIES OF 1990
TITLE: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE SETTING FORTH THE
CITY COUNCIL'S CONCERNS REGARDING A PROPOSED REZONING FOR
GRAVEL EXTRACTION PURPOSE AT THE SHEEP MOUNTAIN QUARRY

WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Planning Department
a rezoning proposal for gravel extraction to
County Board of Commissioners; and
has

WHEREAS, the location is functionally connected to the
City of Wheat Ridge via Clear Creek, which runs through the site
to Wheat Ridge and can thus affect down stream use, and by
Colorado Highway 58, which intersects with Interstate 70 within
the City of Wheat Ridge, and thus Wheat Ridge may be affected by
traffic impacts; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Wheat Ridge as follows:
The City Council expresses the following concerns and
issues which should be specifically addressed by the Board of
County Commissioners as part of this process, and if found to be
a problem, should be mitigated or eliminated to lessen the
impacts upon the residents of the City of Wheat Ridge:
