RESOLUTION NO. 1192
SERIES OF 1990
TITLE: A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE
REDESIGNATE THREE CARnIER ROUTES FhOM ThEIR PRESENT ZIP CODE
AREAS TO POSTAL ZIP CODE 80033.
wHEREAS, Carrier Route 1558 and Zip Code 80215 has within its
present boundaries the Hunicipal Building of Wheat Ridge, Colorado and
wHEREAS, that portion between west 26th Avenue to west j2nd
Avenue and Pierce street to Wadsworth Blvd. all lie within the corporate
boundaries of the City of Wheat Ridge, and
WHEREAS, there are apparently no permanent residents residing
in the area between West 26th Avenue and West 32nd Avenue between
Wadsworth Blvd. and Kipling Street, and
WHEREAS, the second Carrier Route 1244 in Zip Code 80212 is
entirely within the corporate boundaries of Wheat Ridge, and
WHEREAS, the third Carrier Route 1540 in Zip Code 80215 has the
overwhelmingly vast majority of this area within the corporate limits of
the City of wheat Ridge, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Wheat
Ridge, that the above three Carrier Routes be included in the Zip Code
80033.
