HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution-1990-1196 RESOLUTION NO. 1196 Series of 1990 TITLE: A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL SUMS OF MONEY IN EXCESS OF AMOUNTS BUDGETED FOR THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO FOR FISCAL YEAR 1990. WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge Annual Budget for the fiscal year 1990 has been adopted through Resolution No. 1179 on the 11th day of December, 1989; and WHEREAS, $675,047 and 32nd the 1990 the 1989 carryover fund balance to 1990 revenue is greater than budgeted for 1990 due to 39th (Miller-Lena) I (Simms-Kipling) projects being postponed in 1989 after budget was prepared; and WHEREAS, excess dollars unspent from prior years projects which were finalized during the first three months of 1990 have produced an additional $71,937; and WHEREAS, a total of $746,984 is available for expenditure greater than originally budgeted for 1990. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado: A . That the additional sum of $500,000 be appropriated for expenditure in the Capital Projects Fund, in 1990, for the purpose of completing the drainage improvements at 35th and Parfet; and B. That the additional sum of $246,984 be appropriated for expenditure in the Capital Projects Fund, in 1990, for other anticipated projects that may need to be completed in 1990; and C. That the 1990 total appropriation for the Capital Projects Fund be hereby increased from $5,017,668 to $5,764,652. DONE AND RESOLVED this 11th day of June , 1990. ~~ Dan Wilde, Mayor ATTEST:
