'l'ITLE:
Resolution authorizing the Mayor to sign the Intergov-
ernmental Agreement between the City of Wheat Ridge,
Ci ty of Edgewater, and the Urban Drainage and Flood
Control District entitled "Agreement regarding design,
right of way acquisition and construction of drainage
and flood control improvements to north branch upper
Sloan Lake, Edgewater and Wheat Ridge."
Whereas, The City has included the amount of $600,000 in the
approved 1991 City Budget to be used for design and construction
of the titled project; and
Whereas, the project will benefit the community by providing
a storm sewer system; and
Whereas, sec. 14.2 of the Homerule Charter of the Ci ty of
Wheat Ridge authorizes the City, by resolution, to enter into
Intergovernmental Agreements.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Wheat Ridge that the Intergovernmental Agreement entitled
Agreement Regarding design, right of way acquisition and con-
struction of drainage of drainage and flood control improvements
to nort,h branch upper Sloan Lake, Edgewater and l~heat Ridge,
attached to this Resolution be approved, and the Mayor be author-
ized to sign said Intergovernmental Agreement
