RESOLUTION NO. 1306
SERIES OF 1992
TITLE:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT
RIDGE, COLORADO REGARDING MODIFICATIONS OF THE WADSWORTH
TOWN CENTER URBAN RENEWAL PLAN, MODIFYING THEREBY THE
PROVISIONS OF RESOLUTION NO. 1053, SERIES OF 1987, AND
RESOLUTION NO. 1291, SERIES OF 1992, AND FINDING AND
DECLARING THAT SUCH PROPOSED MODIFICATIONS CONSTITUTE A
SUBSTANTIAL CHANGE TO SUCH PLAN.
WHEREAS, the city council of the City of Wheat Ridge has
determined that it is necessary and appropriate to consider the
modification of the Wadsworth Town Center Urban Renewal Plan by
eliminating from the property included within the designated Urban
Renewal Area all of the residential properties along the west side
of Upham Street between West 38th Avenue and West 44th Avenue,
which properties were included wi thin the Urban Renewal Area
pursuant to Resolution No. 1053, Series of 1987;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Wheat Ridge has
previously adopted Resolution No. 1291, Series of 1992, relating
to the means of implementation of the Urban Renewal Plan;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge wishes
to refer to the Planning commission, and thereafter set for public
hearing before the City Council, the questions of whether or not
the Urban Renewal Plan Area should be amended by excluding from the
Urban Renewal Area all of the residential properties along the west
side of Upham Street between West 38th Avenue and West 44th Avenue,
and whether or not the modifications adopted in Resolution No.
1291, Series of 1992, should be retained;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Wheat Ridge has been
advised by its City Attorney, and has determined that the
modifications proposed herein would constitute a substantial change
to the Plan, as provided in Part 1, Article 25, Title 31, Colo.
Rev. Stat. (the Urban Renewal Law); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Urban Renewal Law, the
proposed modification shall be submitted to the Wheat Ridge
Planning commission for determination as to whether such
modifications are in compliance with the City'S Master Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Wheat Ridge that:
1. The modifications to be considered by the Planning
commission and the City Council substantially change the Wadsworth
Town Center Urban Renewal Plan.
2. The Planning Commission shall review the proposed
modifications for a determination as to conformance with the City
of Wheat Ridge's Master Plan.
3. A public hearing shall be held before the City Council
regarding such modifications on the 14th day of September ,
1992, at 7:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard
in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building, 7500 West 29th
Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
4. Notice of such hearing shall be provided in accordance
with the Urban Renewal Law.

SUMMARY OF MODIFICATIONS TO THE
WADSWORTH TOWN CENTER URBAN RENEWAL PLAN
1. Exclude from the designated Plan Area all of the
residential properties along the West side of Upham
street between West 38th Avenue and West 44th Avenue;
2.
Reaffirm the administrative
modifications contained within
Series of 1992;
and decision-making
Resolution No. 1291,
3. Amendment of the Master Plan for the Wadsworth Town
center, and inclusion of same in the Urban Renewal Plan,
to provide for inclusion of items 1 and 2 above, and for
inclusion of an itemization of approved projects to be
completed within the Urban Renewal Area.
