RESOLUTION NO. 1326
Series of 1992
TITLE: A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, THE WHEAT RIDGE FIRE
PROTECTION DISTRICT, AND AMBULANCE SERVICE COMPANY FOR
AMBULANCE SERVICES.
WHEREAS, The
District and
agreement dated
for the combined
City of Wheat Ridge, Wheat Ridge Fire Protection
Ambulance Service Company entered into an
July 23, 1990, to provlde ambulance service
jurisdictions and;
WHEREAS, It lS the desire of the City Council of the City of
Wheat Ridge and the Wheat Ridge Fire Protection District to
amend the 1990 Agreement to incorporate the proposed rates
which reflect the increased operating costs of Ambulance
Service Company as follows:
Section 3.6 Bates. For the ambulance serVices provided
hereunder, the Company shall charge the patient in accordance
with the follOWing schedule:
Basic Service Charge
Mileage, One Way (per mile)
Emergency, Redlights & Siren
Oxygen
I.V., Medications & Disposable
Supplies

WHEREAS, No other changes are made to the 1990 Agreement.
WHEREAS, Section 14.2 of the Home Rule Charter of the City of
Wheat Ridge authorizes the city of Wheat Ridge, by resolution,
to enter into Intergovernmental Agreements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of wheat Ridge, Colorado, that the Amendment to the
Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Wheat Ridge,
the Wheat Ridge Fire Protection District and Ambulance Service
Company be amended as provided for in this resolution with an
pffpctive date of January 1, 1993, and that the agreement be
renewed for the calendar year 1993, be approved and that the
Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to sign said Amendment.
