HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution-1995-1460 RESOLUTION NO. 1460 SERIES OF 1995 TITLE: A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PERMIT AND INSPECTION FEES FOR ORDNANCE 987 REGULATING STREETS AND SIDEWALKS WHEREAS, section 21-20 of Section 21 of the city of Wheat Ridge Municipal Code, adopted by Ordinance 987, regulating work in the Public Way requires that the City Council shall, by Resolution determine the cost of issuance of permits and inspection fees. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the city of Wheat Ridge, colorado, that: SECTION 1. Pursuant to section 21-20 of the Wheat Ridge Municipal Code, the rate schedule for permit and inspection fees charge to a permittee working in the pUblic Way shall be as follows: The following permit fees and inspection fees shall apply to and be paid by the permittee: CONCRETE BASIC PERMIT FEE $75.00 plus the following inspection fees Sidewalk Curb and Gutter Combination curbwalk Driveway crosspan/filets/curb ramps Storm Sewer Inlet Storm Sewer Manhole Miscellaneous structures $0.10/U .10/U .15/U .15/U 10.00 min 10.00 min 15.00 min 15.00 each 15.00 each 15.00 each 15.00 each 15.00 each STREET CONSTRUCTION BASIC PERMIT FEE (FOR EACH OPERATION) $75.00 plus the following inspection fees Total $O.os/sy .05/sy .10/sy .20/sy 10.00 min 10.00 min 20.00 min Earthwork subgrade preparation Pavement 40.00 min EXCAVATIONS 1 BASIC PERMIT FEE $75.00 plus the following inspection fees All excavated areas .30/sf includes pavement restoration 15.00 min The above fees include one follow up inspection visit to verify that deficiencies previously found are corrected. Additional inspections of previously inspected work past the follow up visit will be charged against the Contractor at the above fee schedule. Non continuous excavations shall be assessed the basic permit fee and inspection fee for each separate excavation. A separate permit is required for construction of each water and sewer lateral when constructed during construction of the water and sewer main. If the permittee will be performing two or more consecutive operations under one permit, ie, earthwork, subgrade and pavement construction, the basic permit fee will not be more that $150.00 plus the inspection fees for each type of work contained in the permit. The preceding inspection fees will entitle the Contractor to all necessary inspections for the proposed work. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: Sec 1. The above permit and inspection fee structure be adopted and remain in force until superceded.
