WHEREAS, the voters of Jefferson County voted on November 4, 1980 to allow for maintenance and development of Open Space lands and property, and WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Open Space has instituted a Joint Venture/Grant Project program for 1996, and w.~=:REAS, the City of Wheat Ridge has park improvement proJect needs that are beyond our means; and WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge has the opportunity to enter into a Joint Venture/Grant Project with Jefferson County Open Space for joint funding NOW, THER=:?ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF w.~EAT RIDGE CITY COUNCIL T~~T, 1) Venture/Grant PrOlect. The City of Wheat Ridge apply for a 1996 Joint Droject for the CONSERVATION .~~EA T~~IL CONSTRUCTION 2) The City of Wheat Ridge request 100% of the project cost from the Jefferson County share of the Open Space Fund to a maximum of $110,000.
