TITLE:
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE WHEAT RIDGE CITY STAFF TO
SECURE AN APPRAISAL, SURVEY, TITLE COMMITMENT,
ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT, DETERMINE FAIR MARKET VALUE AND
NEGOTIATE FOR THE ACQUISITION OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT
36TH AND JAY STREET CONSISTING OF FIVE AND THREE TENTHS
ACRE (5.30), MORE OR LESS, IN WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO,
KNOWN AS THE DAVIS PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the property is located in Wheat Ridge, Colorado
consisting of approximately five and three tenths acres (5.30),
more or less; and
WHEREAS,

Parks and Open Space Plan
acquired; and
an area of Wheat
recommends that
WHEREAS, the city believes that the property should be
used for passive recreational and park purposes, within the
constraints imposed by an appropriate public process; and
negotiate

WHEREAS, the city desires to investigate the value
the fair market value of this property under
County Open Space Program; and
and
the
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Wheat Ridge that the Wheat Ridge City Staff be hereby
authorized and requested to secure an appraisal, survey, title
commitment, environmental assessment, determine fair market value
and negotiate for the acquisition of the property, located at 36th
and Jay Street consisting of five and three tenths acres (5.30),
more or less, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, know as the Davis Property.

MARKET VALUE AND NEGOTIATE FOR THE ACQUISITION OF THE
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 36TH AND JAY STREET CONSISTING OF
