SERIES OF 1998
TITLE
A RESOLUTION PROVID1NG FOR A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET
APPROPRIATION FOR THE PAYMENT OF EDARC PROGRAMS
WHEREAS, the CIty of Wheat Ridge has entered 1I1to an Intergovernmental Agreement
111 1982 to return to the Wheat Ridge Fire ProtectIOn Dlstnct property tax increments
collected from the urban renewal area, and
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge has entered 1I1tO a property tax 1I1centlve agreement
wIth the Wheat Ridge Marketplace, and
WHEREAS, the City 1I1advertently paid a $50,000 1997 ED ARC 1I1VOlce With 1998
funds; and
WHEREAS, it IS necessary to 1I1crease the 1998 budget appropriatIOn by $50,000 111 order
to allow for the restoration of the funding to the amount intended pnor to the payment of
the 1997 1I1VOlce, and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds eXist 111 the EDARC Fund Balance due to under expenditure
111 1997
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the CIty of Wheat
Ridge, that the City approve a supplemental budget appropnatlon of$50,000, from Fund 37 Fund
Balance (ED ARC), and an expenditure of $50,000, from 37-120-800-872, for the EDARC
Program
DONE AND RESOLVED this 28th Day of September, 1998
