A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WHEAT RIDGE RECOGNIZING THE OUTSTANDING
ACHIEVEMENT OF THE DESTINATION IMAGINATION
TEAMS FROM PROSPECT VALLEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
WHEREAS. the CIty of Wheat Ridge strongly supports programs that contribute to the
education of our youth. and
WHEREAS. DestInation ImagInation is a program that teaches cntical thInkIng and
creatIve problem solvIng skills to Its partiCIpants: and
WHEREAS, two teams from Prospect Valley Elemental) School won ill theIr d1v1s1ons at
the Jefferson County RegIOnal T ournanlent and represented the County In the Colorado State
Tournament.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the
Cit), of Wheat Ridge, Colonldo, to recogmze Emily Adney. ChnstIna Athanasoupoulos. A.J
Barron. Sam Barron. Katnna Fedak. ChnstIna Fehr. Catle Ford. Christa Foreman. Sheilan Hardl.
Madelmc McCarthy. Taylor \Vhlte. and Emily Wood for thelr achIevement, and
BE IT FlIRTHER RESOLVED. that the Mayor and City Council of the CIty of Wheat
Rldgc encourage all students to partlclpatc ill actl.,\tles that expand thelr honzon.
