TITLE:
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2002
BUDGET TO REFLECT ACCEPTANCE OF THE STATE
OF COLORADO TOBACCO EDUCATION GRANT
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge applied for and was awarded a grant to
help Wheat Ridge teens promote tobacco cducatlOn m the commumty; and
WHEREAS, the CIty Council desires to accept the grant m the amount of $2,000;
and
WHEREAS, the Wheat RIdge Charter requires that amendments to the budget be
effected by the City Council adoptlllg a ResolutlOn,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Wheat Ridge, Colorado, as follows:
A. The City hereby accepts the grant.
B. The CIty Manager IS authorIzed to execute all documents necessary for thc
acceptance of the award.
C Upon receipt of the funds, that the funds be placed m the General Fund
D The City of Wheat Ridge fiscal year 2002 Budget be amended
accordmgly, specifically adding $2,000 into the Teen Center operatmg
supplies account (01-625-650-660).
E The funds be encumbered for the length of the project.
