Hevenue Sharing Budgets for the 1981 fiscal year for the

Public Hearing was opened on the general (operating), sales tax
improvements, parK acquisition, and conservation trust funds Frances
CODb, 447U Ingalls Street, was present to ask it the Barlan Street
Drainage proqram wil1 be included in the budget J'1ayor said that the
bid paCKage is expected to be ready and be openend in December and
that approximately 2 3 M1llion Dollars has been appropriated in the
l~dl budget and cunstruction is expected to be started in the Spring
ot 1':J~1

adjustments oe determined by the department heads; seconded by Mr

provided rather than an across-the-board cut Mr Palmer said that
the operation's budget had already been pared to an increase of 4%

engineer1ng and take out $20,00U and add it to the drainage projects;
seconded by Mr Lewis Motion Failed 4-4 with Councilmembers Aiello,
Bowman, Merkl, and Ore voting No Failed Amendment to the above
motion by Mr Uavis, that the amount deleted from engineering and

l-ouncil Bill No 20 - An Ordinance providing for the
adoption by Lity Council ot seven quarter section maps as
the otticial zoning ma~s ot the City ot Wheat Ridge,
Colorado; and, to provide tor the tuture updating of these
maps periodically to indicate the zoning changes approved by
the Lity Louncil ot the City ot ~heat Ridge, Lolorado
Mr Gidley presented the staff report ie stated that the maps had

(Ordinance 41~) be approved on second reading, with the minor change
of changing tl1e words "eight" to "seven" in the title and tirst
paragraph, and that the "letters" be changed to match the ones on the

are closing the Dallas tacility and expanding the Denver facility with
tne materials to oe stored in tle warehouse they propose to construct
un the property under discussion ~r Paul 0illis, Manager, 950U Carr
btreet, was also present and presented additional comments regarding
storage ~o one was present in opposition
Motion by Mr Aiel10 that Case No ~Z-bO-lO be approved for the
fol10wing reasons (1) Planning Lommission recommends approval; (2)
AIl requirements ot the Zoning Ordinance have ben met; (3) rhe request
is consistent with existing and surrounding zoning, and land uses;

Council issue coming up on November 4, as he feels we should oppose

oppose any increase in the mill levy for Jefferson County H-l
