This permit was issued in accordance with the provisions set forth in your application and is subject to thelaws of the
State of Colorado and to the Zoning Regulations and Building Codes of Wheat Ridge, Colorado or any other applicable
ordinances of the City. This permit shall expire if (A) the work authorized is not commenced within sixty (60) days from issue date or (B) the
building authorized is suspended or abandoned for a period of 180 days.
I£ this pemit espires, a new pemit may be acquired for a fee of one-half the amount normally required, prwided nochanges have been or will be made in the original plans and specifications and any suspension or abandonment has not
exceeded one (1) year. I£ changes have been or if suspension or abandonment exceeds one (1) year, full fees shall
bepaid for a new permit. No work of any manner shall be done that will change the natural Elow o£ water causing a drainage problem.
Contractor shall notify the Huilding Inspector twenty-£our (24) hours in advance for all inspections and shall receive
written approval on inspection caxd before proceeding with successive phases of the job.
The issuance of a permit or the approval of drawings and specifications shall not be consCrued to be a permit for, nor
an apprwa/l ~oE, any v' f the prwisions of the building codes or any other ordinance, law, rule or re9ulation.

benches and I have the following comments:
32°a Avenue and Wadsworth Blvd, northeast - The north bench has been knocked over and
must be repaired.
/1j2~ 47`h Avenue and IIarlan, northwest - There is graffiti on this bench which must be removed.
//X.I"44th Avenue and Kipling Street, southwest - There are only two benches at this location, as
four have been requested. A fee will only be assessed for two advertising benches.

Your application for renewal of the permits for bus benches you currently have in Wheat Ridge has been
received. This letter is to inform you that an inspection has been done on the benches in Wheat Ridge that
aze on the most recent list that you submitted and based on a field inspection on this date, the following has
been found:
1. Kipling Street and West 48t° Avenue, southeast corner - There are no Outdoor Ads benches at this
location. There is one bench that has been placed by the City at this location. You may submit a
new check which reflects the new permit amount (minus two advertising benches).
2. Ingalls Street and West 44`h Avenue, northeast corner - there is graffiti on the east bench at this
location that must be removed.
3. Depew Street and West 38ffi Avenue, southeast corner - there is graffiti on the one bench at this
location that must be removed.
4. Benton Street and West 38"h Avenue, southwest corner - there is graffiti on the east bench at this
location that must be removed.
Please take the necessary steps to bring each of these benches into compliance for approval. An inspection
will be scheduled for Wednesday, March 29, 2006 to confirm that these corrections haue been made. If all
corrections have been made, the permit may be issued. The check submitted has been held pending these
inspections, so you may submit a new check which reflects two less advertising benches if you wish
($6,550), or I can process a refund, wluch may take 2-3 weeks.

Dear Mr. Leicht:
The permit far your bus benches has been received, and inspections have been done on all of the
benches and I have the following comments:
1. 32"a Avenue and Wadsworth Blvd, northeast - The north bench has been knocked over and
must be repaired.
2. 47`h Avenue and Harlan, northwest - There is graffiti on this bench which must be removed.
3. 44`h Avenue and Kipling Street, southwest - There are only two benches at this location, as
four haue been requested. A fee will only be assessed for two advertising benches.
4. 32°d and Ingalls Street, northeast - There is graffiti on this bench which must be removed.
5. 32"a and Fenton Street, southeast - There is graffiti on this bench which must be removed.
6. 33ra and Sheridan Blvd, southwest - There is one Bench 4 Rent bench at this location which
is not permitted and must be removed. There is no bus stop at this location.
7. 48`h Avenue and Kipling Street, southeast - There aze no Bench 4 Rent benches in this
location. A fee will not be assessed for this location.
Once all corrections have been made, an inspection will be scheduled and the permit may be issued.

any and all bus benches in fhe City is March 1, 2006. One miscellaneous building pernut can be submitted
for multiple bus benches. Please note the following:
• An updated list of the locations of the benches, along with some type of site plan showing the
location of each bench needs to be submitted with the application.
. Bus bencheswith advertising are assessed at $50 each on the building permit application.
• Please note that per Sec. 21-124 (e) for every 5 benches allowed with advertising, 1 bench must be
provided without advertising located in one of the following zone districts: R-1, R-lA, R-1B, R-1C
R-2, R-2A, A-1, A-2, and PF. If you need assistance fmding a location in one of these zone districts,
please contact me at the number below.
• Your current insurance certificate has been received. A valid sign contractors license is also
required with the application.
After the application has been submitted and found complete, subsequent inspecrions will take place to
ensure the correct placement and condifion of the bus benches specified in the permit and pursuant to the
City's regulafions. After all necessary conections and repairs have been made, the pemut may be issued.
Enclosed is a copy of the City's regulations for bus benches.
