RESOLUTION NO. 40

TITLE: A RESOLUTION CLOSING THE RICHARDS HART ESTATE
FUND 35
WHEREAS, the City Council established the Richards Hart Estate Fund 35 for
the purpose of tracking revenues from rentals of the Estate;
WHEREAS, the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) has
established new accounting standards which require the City to discontinue the use of
the Richards Hart Estate Fund, and;
WHEREAS, the revenues from Richards Hart Estate rentals will be tracked in the
General Fund revenues and expenditures in the General Fund 625 Historic Buildings
program budget;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WHEAT RIDGE:
A. The Richards Hart Estate Fund 35 will be closed effective December 31,
2011 and any remaining fund balance will be transferred to the Wheat
Ridge General Fund.
