T ITLE: A RESOL UTION AMEND ING THE FISCAL YEAR 2011
GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO REFLEC T THE APPROVAL OF A
SUPP L EMENTAL BUDGET APPROPRIATION IN THE AMOUNT
OF $20 ,033 .19 FOR THE FOOTHILLS ANIMAL SHELTER (FAS)
WHEREAS , the City Council recognizes the important role that the Foothills
Animal Shelter plays in providing animal welfare services to the City of Wheat Ridge
and J effe rson County, and
WHEREAS , the 2011 Special Assessment is requi red i n order to continue to
provide quality services at the animal shelter; and
WHEREAS , the Wheat R idge Charter requires that amendments to the budget
be effected by the City Council adopting a Resolution .
NOW, THERE FORE , BE IT RESO LVED by the City Council of the C ity of
Wheat Ridge, Colo r ado, as follows :
A. The City Council authorizes the transfer of $20 ,033.19 from the general
fund undesignated reserves to account number 01 -203 -700-721 and
amending the 2011 fiscal year budget accordingly.
