TITLE: A RESOLU TI ON GRANTING AUTHORI TY TO OBTAIN
COMMERCIAL PURCHAS ING CARD ACCOUNTS BY
AGREEMENT W ITH COMMERCE BANK
WHEREAS, the City Council authorizes the City Manager, Administrative
Services Director and/or the Purchasing Agent to:
A. Establish commercial purchasing card accounts ,
B . To incur debt, in the form of a line of credit for commercial pu rchasing card
use,
C . To execute all documents to effectuate this purpose which he/she may
deem necessary and proper, includi ng without limitation any application
and/or Agreement to open commercial purchasing card accounts ; and
WHEREAS, any of the foregoing named agents of the City of Wheat Ridge may
from time to time request issuance of commercial purchasing cards to any person in
connection with any of the commercial purchasing card accounts ; and
WHEREAS , any of the foregoing named agents of the City of Wheat Ridge may
from time t o time appoint an Administrator to assist in the administration of the
commercial purchasing card program ; and
WHEREAS , Commerce Bank is authorized to act upon this reso lution until
written notice of revocation is delivered to Commerce Bank, and that the authority
hereby granted shall apply with equal force and effect to the successors in the office of
the agents named herein .
NOW, THEREFOR E, BE IT RESOLVED by the C ity Council of the City of
W heat Ridge, Color ado, as follows:
A. The City Council authorizes the authority to obtain commercial purchasing
card accounts by Agreement with Commerce Bank.
