TITLE : A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2014
GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO REFLECT THE APPROVAL OF A
SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET APPROPRIATION IN THE AMOUNT
OF $14,270 FOR A REQUIRED UPGRADE OF THE CHANNEL 8
SCHEDULING SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE
WHEREAS, t he City Cou nc il recogn izes Cha nnel 8 broadcasting as an im portant
co m munication tool to info rm t he com m unit y about City program m ing a nd services ; and
WHEREAS, the use of P ubl ic Educat ion Government (PEG) Fees can only be
utilized for equipment, softwa re an d mai ntenance needed for operating Channel 8 ; and
WHEREAS , the W heat Ridge Charter requires that amendments to the budget
be effected by the City Council adopting a Resolution .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Wheat Ridge, Colorado, as follows :
A. The City Council a uthorizes the upgrade of the Channel 8 scheduling
software and ha rdware .
B. The City Council authorizes the transfer of $1 4 ,270 from the general fund
PEG-designated reserves t o account num ber 0 1-111 -800-809 and
amend ing th e 20 14 fiscal year budget accordingly.
