A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF TWO
REPLACEMENT POLICE SPECIAL SERVICE VEHICLES, AMENDING
THE FISCAL YEAR 2015 GENERAL FUND BUDGET, AND
APPROVING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET APPROPRIATION IN THE
AMOUNT OF $95,756
WHEREAS, Police Patrol Unit 83 and Police Traffic Unit 99 incurred non-
repairable accident damage; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to replace Police Patrol Unit 83 and Police
Traffic Unit 99; and
WHEREAS, the 2015 Public Works Operations fleet replacement budgeted funds
do not include replacement of Units 83 and 99.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Wheat
Ridge, Colorado, as follows:
1. Purchase of one police patrol optioned 2016 Ford Expedition SSV from Siii-
Terhar Motors, Inc. of Broomfield, Colorado under Colorado Price Agreement
#20160000000000000138 in the amount of $38,021 is approved.
2. Outfitting this vehicle for use is estimated to be $15,000 and is approved.
3. Purchase of one police patrol optioned 2016 Ford Interceptor Utility SSV from
Siii-Terhar Motors, Inc. of Broomfield, Colorado under Colorado Price Agreement
#20160000000000000138 in the amount of $32,735 is approved.
4. Outfitting this vehicle for use is estimated to be $10,000 and is approved
5. The following amendments to the 2015 General Fund Budget are hereby
approved:
(a) Transfer $95,756 from General Fund Reserves to account number
01-303-800-807
