Project Overview/Scope: The City of Wheat Ridge seeks a qualified firm
or team to provide structural engineering consulting services for three
bridge rehabilitation projects including bridge joint replacement for one
bridge and need assessment for approach and bridge rail replacements on
three bridges.

Minimum Requirements: Awarded professional must have a valid City
of Wheat Ridge Business/Use Tax license(s) prior to starting the project.
This project requires compliance with the “Illegal Alien” Provisions of
CRS8-17.5-101, as well as insurance coverage. Respondents must be
currently pre-qualified with the Colorado Department of Transportation
for Bridge Inspection (BI) and Bridge Design (BR).
Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: Disadvantaged business enterprises
are afforded full opportunity to submit qualifications and will not be
discriminated against on the grounds of race, color or national origin in
consideration for award.
Deadline for Questions: September 9, 2015 by noon.
Qualification Submittals Due: THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2015
BY 4:00 PM OUR CLOCK. THERE IS NO PUBLIC OPENING. It is the
responsibility of the proposer to ensure the qualifications submittal is
received in the Purchasing Office on or before the due date and time.

The City only accepts submittals in hard copy format. Fax, email
or other electronic means are not acceptable. Sealed submittals must
include: (1) marked “Original” and (4) copies for a total of 5 complete
sets.

Comments: All submittals must be sealed and shall be validated.
No submittals will be accepted after the due date and time, regardless of
postmark. Submittals received after the due opening time will be filed
unopened. The City of Wheat Ridge reserves the right to shortlist firms that
it deems are in the best interest of the City based solely on qualifications.
