HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 46, 2020CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO RESOLUTION NO. 46 Series of 2020 TITLE: A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2020 FISCAL YEAR GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO REFLECT THE APPROVAL OF A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET APPROPRIATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE CATPA- METROPOLITAN AUTO THEFT TASK FORCE (C-MATT) IN AN AMOUNT UP TO $66,000 WHEREAS, the City was awarded a 2020 CATPA-Metropolitan Auto Theft Task Force (C-MATT) grant in the amount of $66,000 for the purpose of purchasing and implementing license plate reader (LPR) technology in the area of I-70 and Kipling; and WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to appropriate these grant funds into the Fiscal Year 2020 General Fund budget; and WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge Home Rule Charter requires that amendments to the budget be effected by the City Council adopting a Resolution. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, as follows: Section 1. Budget Amended A transfer of $66,000 is hereby approved from the General Fund undesignated reserves to account 01-202-800-809 and the 2020 revenues are amended accordingly. Section 2. Effective Date This Resolution shall be effective upon adoption.
