RESOLUTION NO. 42
Series of 2023
TITLE: A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2023 FISCAL YEAR
GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO REFLECT THE APPROVAL
OF A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET APPROPRIATION IN THE
AMOUNT OF $37,586.79 FOR THE PURPOSE OF
ACCEPTING GRANT FUNDS FROM THE COLORADO
DEPARTMENT OF EARLY CHILDHOOD
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge has received additional grant dollars for
childcare programs that need to be spent by September 30, 2023; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge wishes to invest these funds in childcare
programs by the deadline; and
WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge City Council approves the associated budget
supplemental, allowing for the transfer of these funds into the General Programs expense
account 01-622-650-660.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Wheat Ridge City Council, that:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Council approve the budget supplemental.
Section 2. This Resolution shall be effective upon adoption.
