SOUTH, RANGE 69 WEST OF THE SIXTH (6th) PRINCIPAL 11ERIDIAN.

WHEREAS, by a plat recorded in Book 2 at page 1 of tha Jefferson
County Records, a certain street was dedicated to the public; and
WHEREAS, tha following described street is no longer nece8sary for
usa by the public; and
WHEREAS, said street is within the limits of the City of Wheat Ridge;
and
WHEREAS, no land would, by a vacation of said street be left without
an eetablis:,ed publi~ road connecting it with enother established public
road; and
WHEREAS, the Wheat Ridge Planning Commission has spproved the vacation
of said street.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO,
THAT:
Section 1. Tha following described atreet in the City of Wheat Ridge,
Colorado, be vacated, to ~it

Sect.on 15, rownship 3 South, Range 69 West of the 6th Principal
Meridien: Thence South along the West line of ths said SE>4 584
SW'/. 30 f3et to the true point of beginning: Thence South along
West lina of said SE}!. SE}!. SW'/. 167.94 feet to e point: Thence
East 30 feet to e point on ths West line of Block B, Juchem's
Garden Placs recorded in Book 2, Page 1 of Town Plats Jefferson
County Records: Thence North 167.94 feet perellel to West line
of said SE}!. SE}!. S~~ to a point on the Northwest (NW) corner of
Block B, Juchem's Garden PIece: Thencs West 30 feet to the true
point of beginning.
And the seme is hereby approved and the described strest is hereby
vacated; prOVided, however, said vacation shall be subject to the follow-
ing conditions and reeervations;

Section 2. Emergency Clause. The provisions of this ordinance ars
necessary to ths immediats preservation of the public health and safety
of the citizens of the City of Wheat Ridge for ths following reasons:

1. No ordinance has been previously passed relating to the vacation
of this etreet becauee the City having just completed incorporation August
20, 1969, has not heretofore adopted any ordinance vacating this street.
2. An ordinance vacating this street is necessary to allow the orderly
drvelopment of this area.
Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in forca thirty DO) days after publ1cE;Uon following final passsge.
