LYl'IG IN Pf.RT OF THE EAST HALF (E 1/2) OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER (NW 1/4)
OF SECTION 22, TO\~I;SHIP 3 SOUTH, RAI,GE 69 WEST OF THE SIXTH (6TH)
PRIIICIPAL MERIDIAN
WHEREAS, by Plat of Hoyt Subdivision as recorded in Book
22 at Page 57 of the Jefferson County Records, a ecrtain street was
dedicated to the public; and
WHEREAS, that part of the following described street known
as a cuI .de-sac and lying within Tracts A a~d B, Hoyt Subdivision is
no longer necessary for use by the public; and
WHEREAS, said street is within the limits of the City of
Wheat Ridge; and
WHEREAS, no land would by a vacation of that part of said
street known as a cui-de-sac and lying within Tracts A and B, Hoyt
Subdivision would be left without an established public road connecting
it with another established public road; and
.~EREAS, the Wheat Ridge Planning Commission has approved
the vacation of that part of said street Known as a cul-de-sae and
lying within Tracts A and B, Hoyt Subdivision.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO,
THAT
Section 1 That part of the following described street
known as a cuI-dc-sac and lying within Tracts A and b, Hoyt Subdivision
in the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado be vacated, to ,it:
Tracts A "nd B, Hoyt Subdivision as recorded in
Plat Book 22 at Page 57 of the Jefferson County
Records

Section 2. EmeCgency~lause. The provisions of this
ordinance are necessary to the immediate preservation of the public
health and safety of the c,tizens of the City of Wheat Ridge for the
following reasons:
No ordinal1Ce has been p;.eviously passed relating to the
v1cation of that part of this street known as a cul-de-sac and lying
within Tracts A and B, Hoyt Subdivision beeause the City having just
completed incorporation August 20, 1969, has not heretofore ad~pted any
ordinances vacating this street.
2. An ordinance vacating that part of this street known as
a cul-de-sac .nd lying within Tracts A and B, ~oyt Subdivision is
necessary to allow the orderly development of t^'C ~rea.
Section 3. Effective Date. This urdinan~e shall take effect
and be in force five (5) days after publication followi~~ final passage
providing it shall have been passed by an affirmative vote of three-
fourths (3/4) of the members of the City Council; otherwise, said or-
dinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after publication following
final passage.
