ORDINANCE NO. 77

TITLE: AN ORDINANCE CREATING AND NAMING WHEAT RIDGE GENERAL
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 9. -
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE_CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE,
COLORADO, THAT:
Section 1. Authority. Pursuant to Article 4, Chapter_
89, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, 1963, as amended, and
Ordinance No. 43, Series of 1970, of the City of Wheat Ridge,
Colorado, the City Council is -given the authority to organize
and name Special Improvement Districts.
Section 2._-.Purpdse. The purpose of this Ordinance is
to establish and name Wheat Ridge General Improvement District
No. 9, which Improvement District is being formed for the purpose
of uniform street paving on Garrison Street-south from 44th_to
and including that unpaved Portion Of 42nd Avenue to its junction
with the paved portion of Garland in the approximate location of
42nd Avenue and Garland.
Section 3. Inclusion.- The petitions and legal des-
criptions of Improvement District No..9 are incorporated herein
by reference.
Section 4. Declaration. The City Council does hereby
declare Wheat Ridge General Improvement District No. 9, to be
formally organized. The corporate name shall be as specified in
the Petition, Wheat Ridge General _Improvement District No. Nine.
Section 5. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect
and be in force thirty (30) days after publication following final
passage.
