BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO, THAT: Section 1: PURPOSE. To promote the public health, safety, and general welfare, to minimize flood losses in areas subject to flood hazards, and to promote wise use of the flood plain within the City of Wheat Ridge. Section 2: SUPPLEMENTS TO OFFICIAL MAPS. Maps and profiles for the Intermediate Project Flood for Lena Gulch are herewith attached and shall be included within and amend Section'2.4 and Section 4.2 of Ordinance No. 68, which has been previously approved by the Colorado Water Conservation Board and signed by the Mayor of the City of Wheat Ridge and the City Engineer of the City of Wheat Ridge. Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30) days after publication following final passage.
