ORDINANCE NO. 236
SERIES OF 1977
TITLE: AN ORDINANCE GIVING THE CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS OF
THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT AUTHORITY TO
INSTITUTE PROCEEDINGS IN THE MUNICIPAL COURT FOR THE
CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT
RIDGE, COLORADO, THAT:
Section 1. Authority of the Code Enforcement Officers.
The Code Enforcement Officers of the City of Wheat Ridge are
hereby granted the authority to institute judicial proceedings
in the Municipal Court for the City of Wheat Ridge, against
any person, company or corporation who commits acts in
violation of Chapters 5, 6, 8, 9, 13, 17, and Appendix A
and B of the Code of Laws of the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
Said authority shall not extend to traffic violations.
Section 2. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take
effect 30 days after publication following final passage.
INTRODUCED, READ, ADOPTED AND ORDERED PUBLISHED on first
reading by a vote of 6 to 0 , this 13th day of June , 1977.
READ, ADOPTED AND ORDERED PUBLISHED on second and final
reading by a vote of 6 to 0 this 27thday of June 1977
