ORDINANCE NO. 260
Series of 1978
TITLE: AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE REZONING OF LAND LOCATED AT
3190 YOUNGFIELD, CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COUNTY OF JEFFERSON,
STATE OF COLORADO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO,
THAT:
Section 1. Upon application of Applewood Village and Amoco Oil Company
for rezoning in Wheat Ridge Case No. WZ-77-20, and upon recom-
mendation for approval of rezoning from the Wheat Ridge Plan-
ning Commission, and pursuant to findings made based upon
testimony and evidence presented at public hearing before
the Wheat Ridge City Council, Wheat Ridge Zoning Maps are
hereby amended to exclude from the R-C Zone District and to
include within the C-1 Zone District, the following described
land:
A tract of land in said County and State, situated in the NW, NE14 SW'-4
of Section 29, Township 3 South, Range 69 West of the 6th P.M., more speci-
fically described as follows: Beginning at the point of intersection
of the South R/W line of 32nd Ave. and the East R/W line of Youngfield
St. as they now exist; thence in an Easterly direction along the South
R/W line of 32nd Avenue a distance of 160 feet to a point; thence in a
Southerly direction and parallel to the East R/W line of Youngfield St.
a distance of 150 feet to a point; thence in a Westerly direction and
parallel to the South R/W line of 32nd Ave. a distance of 160 feet more
or less to a point on the East R/W line of Youngfield Street; thence in
a Northerly direction along the East R/W line of Youngfield Street a dis-
tance of 150 feet more or less to the point of beginning.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen (15) days after final
publication.
INTRODUCED, READ, AND ADOPTED on first reading by a vote of 5 to 1
on this 27th day of February , 1978; ordered published in full
in the Wheat Ridge Sentinel and Public Hearing and consideration on final
passage set for March 13 , 1978, at 7:30 o'clock P .M.,
at Council Chambers, Anderson Building, 4355 Field Street, Wheat Ridge,
Colorado.
READ, ADOPTED, AND ORDERED PUBLISHED on second and final reading by a
vote of 5 to 1 , this 13th day of March , 1978.
