TITLE: AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AND REENACTING SECTION 5-25
OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE,
COLORADO:
Section 1. Section 5-25 of the Code of the City of Wheat Ridge,
Colorado, is hereby repealed and reenacted as Section 5-25 of the
Code of the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, as follows:
Sec. 5-25. Building Code Advisory Board.
Whenever in this chapter reference is made to an appeal
from any written ruling or administrative decision, the
Building Code Advisory Board as established in Section 2-23
of the Code of the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, shall be
the appellate body so designated whether it shall be styled
as "board of appeals," "housing appeals & advisory board,"
or by any other name. Hereinafter in this section, the Building
Code Advisory Board shall be referred to as the board.
Section 2. Severability. If any clause, sentence, paragraph,
or part of this ordinance or the application thereof to any
person or circumstances shall for any reason be adjudged by
a court of competent jurisdiction invalid, such judgment shall
not affect, impair or invalidate the remainder of this ordinance
or its application to other persons or circumstances.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect fifteen (15) days
aafter~final publication.
INTRODUCED, READ, AND ADOPTED on first reading by a vote of
6 to 0 on this 11th day of December, 1978; ordered published
in full in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of
Wheat Ridge and Public Hearing and consideration on final
passage set for January 15, 1979, at 7:30 o'clock p.m., at
Council Chambers, 7500 West 29th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
READ, ADOPTED, AND ORDERED PUBLISHED on second and final
readinq by a vote of 6 to 0 , this 15th day of
Janua= 1979.
