TITLE; AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDIN;ORDINANCE 469 SUSPENDING THE
PROVISION OF CHAPTER 3A, AMUSEMENTS OF THE CODE OF LAWS OF THE CITY
OF WHEAT RIDGE FOR A PERIOD OF 90 DAYS AND CONTAINING AN AUTOMATIC
REPEALING CLAUSE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO,
THAT:
Section 1. Section 2 of Ordinance 469 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"No license may be issued under Chapter 3A of the Code of Laws of the
City of Wheat Ridge during the effective life of this Ordinance
provided, however, that any such license for which an application
is completed and submitted to the City Clerk prior to the effective
date of this Ordinance shall not be denied other than for the
reasons stated in Chapter 3A. Except as provided in this paragraph,
during the effective period of this Ordinance, no Amusement
Devices as defined in Section 3A-l shall be installed within the
City."
Section 2. A new Section 3 is hereby added to read as follows:
"Any licenses previously issued by the City Clerk pursuant to Chapter 3A
shall continue in effect until the date that a new Ordinance becomes
effective or until Ordinance 469 terminates."
Section 3, Sections 3, 4, 5, and 6 of Ordinance 469 are hereby renumbered
Sections 4, 5, 6, and 7.
