TITLE: AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AND REENACTING SEC-PION 5-45,
CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE FEES, OF THE CODE OF LAWS OF THE
CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, ESTABLISHING THEREBY REVISED FEES
FOR CONTRACTOR'S LICENSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT
RIDGE, COLORADO:
Section 1. Section 5-45 of the Code of Laws of the City of
Wheat Ridge is hereby repealed and reenacted as follows:
Sec. 5-45. Same - Table.
Fees for contractors licenses:
(a) Building contractor, class I - $75.00.
(b) Building contractor, class II - $50.00.
(c) Building contractor, class III - $50.00.
(d) Building contractor, class IV - $50.00.
(e) Wrecking contractor, class V - $50.00.
(f) Plumbing contractor, class VII - $50.00.
(g) Steam & hot water contractor, class VIII - $50.00.
(h) Heating and ventilating contract, class IX - $50.00
(i) Gas service contractor, class X - $50.00.
(j) refrigeration contractor, class XI - $50.00.
(k) Sign contractor, class XII - $50.00.
(1) Fire protection contractor, class XIII - $50.00.
(m) Lawn sprinkler contractor, class XIV - $50.00.
(n) Electrical signal contractor, class XV - $50.00.
(o) Municipal contractor, Class A - $75.00.
(p) Municipal contractor, Class B - $75.00.
(q) Municipal contractor, Class C - $50.00.
Section 2. Severability. If any clause, sentence,
paragraph, or part of this ordinance or the application thereof
to any person or circumstances shall for any reason be adjudged
by a court of competent jurisdiction invalid, such judgment shall
not affect application to other persons or circumstances.
Section 3. Safety Clause. The City Council hereby finds,
determines, and declares that this ordinance is promulgated under
the general police power of the City of Wheat Ridge, that it is
promulgated for the health, safety, and welfare of the public,
and that this ordinance is necessary for the preservation of
health and safety and for the protection of public convenience
and welfare. The City Council further determines that the
ordinance bears a rational relation to the proper legislative
object sought to be attained.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect one (1) day
after final publication.
