TITLE: AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AND REENACTING SECTION'S 6-1
AND 6-2 OF THE CODE OF LAWS OF THE CITI OF i,,iHEAT
RIDGE, ADOPTING, THEREBY THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL
CODE, 1987 EDITION, BY REFERENCE AND ADOPTING
CERTAIN AMENDMENTS THERETO.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE,
COLORADO:
Section 1. Section 6-1 and 6-2 of the Code of
Laws of the City of Wheat Ridge are hereb, repealed
and reenacted as follows:
"Section 6-1. National Electrical Code--Adoption.
The National Electrical Code, 1987 Edition,

and incorporated into this chapter as though fully
set out herein as the electrical code of the City.

office of the City Clerk and may be inspected
during regular business hours.
Section 6-2. 'Name--Amendments..
The National Electrical Code, 1987 Edition, adopted
by section 6-1 is hereby amended as follows.
(section numbers refer to section numbers of the
National Electrical Code): 310-2. Section 310-
2(b is amended by adding a new sentence which
reads:

Section 3. Severability. If any clause, sentence,
paragraph, or part of this or idinanr_e or, the app Iica tion thereof

by a court of competent jurisdiction invalid, such judgment
shall not affect, impair or, invalidate the remainder of this
ordinance or its application to other persons or circumstances.
