The City of Wheat Ridge hereby finds, detenmnes, and declares that thIS ordmance IS promulgated under the general police powcr of the City of Wheat Ridge, that It is promulgated for thc health, safety, and welfare of the pubhc and that thiS ordmancc IS necessary for the preservatIOn of health and safety and for the protectIOn of pubhc conVCl11ence and welfare The City Council further determmes that the ordinance bcars a ratIOnal relatIOn to the propcr legislative object sought to be attamed. Section 4. Severability. If any clause, sentence, paragraph, or part of this Zonmg Code or the application thereof to any person or circumstances shall for any reason be adJusted by a court of competent JunsdlctlOn mvahd, such Judgment shall not aftect applicatIOn to other persons or Clrcumstances. Section 5. Supersession Clause. If any proVISion, reqUlrements or standard established by this Ordmance IS found to conf11ct With snndar proVISions, reqUIrements or standards found elsewhere m the Code of Laws of the City of Wheat Ridge, which are in eXIstence as of the date of adoptIon of this Ordmance, the proVISions, reqUIrements and standards here shall supersede and prevail Section 6 . ThiS Ordmance shall take effect 15 days after final publication.
