RESOLUTION NO. 7
Series of 1969
WHEREAS, certain street cuts will be required to be made in
the streets of the City of Wheat Ridge.
WHEREAS, the City is presently unable to take over this
function from the County of Jefferson.
WrIEltEAS, in order to assure continuity of jurisdiction by
a governmental entity over this function.
WrIEREAS, the County by statute is authorized and empowered
to continue to apply duties and responsibilities for a period of up
to 90 days or longer following election of officers of the City.
Wr{EP~AS, said election of officers occurred August 20, 1969.
W1ffiREAS, the City has appointed a City Superintendent of
Streets.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Superintendent of
Streets be empowered and authorized to request the County of Jefferson
to issue road or street cut permits until such time as the City legally
assumes this function.
RESOLVED AND ADOPTED in a regular meeting of City Council
on the 23rd day of September, A. D. 1969, by a vote of five (5) to
zero (0).
