CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE
RESOLUTION No. 8
WHEREAS, under the provisions of Article 2, Chapter 111,
Colorado Revised Statutes, 1963, as amended, the employees of municipal
corporations may become members of the Public Employees' Retirement
Association with all the rights and privileges and be charged with all
the duties and liabilities as provided in said Article, and
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado plans to appropriate
funds for the employer's payments to the retirement fund as provided
in said Article, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE:
That the City of Wheat Ridge apply for affiliation with the
Public Employees' Retirement Association as provided in Article 2,
Chapter 111, Colorado Revised Statutes, 1963, as amended, effective
as of October 1, 1969, and that the proper officers of the City be and
they are hereby authorized to perform all acts necessary to obtain such
affiliation and to comply with all requirements, rules and regulations
of said Article and Associat_.on upon such affiliation, including the
appropriation of sufficient funds for the City's participation in the
retirement fund, as provided in said Article.
