RESOLUTION NO. 16
Series of 1969
WHEREAS, certain services are customarily provided by a
City.
HHEREAS, an early fall sno'., storm beginning on October 3,
1969, has caused a disasterous situation within the City.
WHEREAS, uncounted damage has occurred because of the adverse
weather conditions.
W11EREAS, the trees of the City of Wheat Ridge have been
heavily damaged and hroken limbs and branches have accumulated in
the yards of the citizens of the City.
WHEREAS, the unusual "eather conditions have created a
situation that appears to the Council to be an emergency.
NOW THEID~FORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of
Wheat Ridge be and he is hereby authorized to expend an amount of
money not to exceed $10,000.00 and to supervise the work as necessary
and that the City ~reasurer be authorized to cover each expense
through the issuance of warrants to cover the expense, whether or not
funds are available in the Treasury of the City.
RESOLVED l~iD ADOPTED in a regular meeting of Cit~. Council
on the 8th day of October, A. D. 1969, by a vote of four (4) to
zero (0).
