WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge n88ds e18ctrical
insepction under its building code.
WHEREAS volume of p8rmits ar8 such that only a part-
time inspector is judtified.
WHEREAS, the Stat8 Electrical Inspection Departm8nt is
availab18 to handle these inspections.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City, starting
Decemb8r 25, 1969, US8 the services of th8 State Electrical Board
for electrical insp8ctions sub"j8ct ill the following conditions:
(1) Stat8 Insp8ctors agre8 not to inspect work of
contractors in the City who do not have a current City of Wh8at
Ridg8 electrical license.
(2) State permits shall be issued in lieu of City permits
and contractors shall be instructed to contact the State BoarD for
inspections. (892-2379)
(3) The State Board will provide to the City of Wheat
Ridge a monthly total of permits issu8d and the total value, the
same to become part of the official City records.
(4) The State Board shall keep the City advised concerning
qualification of contractors working in the City.
DONE AND RESOLVED this 23rd day of Decemb8r, A.D. 1959, by
a vote of 5 to o.
