RESOLUTION NO. 52
Series of 1970
WHERE~S, the Wheat Ridge National Bank offered to accept
"no fund warrants" up to Twenty-five Thousand and no/loo ($25,000.00)
Dollars for six months at no inturest from the City of Wheat Ridge;
WHEREAS, the City of Uhast Ridge elected to use NinpL8en
Thousand and no/100 ($19,000.00) Dollars of this offer in 1969,
pending receipt of additional revenue in 1970;
WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge is b8~inninJ to receive
revenue anticipated in its 1970 budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Treasurer
of the City of Wheat Ridge be authorized to repay thesB warrants as
funds are available including Warrant lA in the amount of Five Thou-
sand and no/loO ($5,000.00) Dollars and Warrant 2A in the amount of
Fourteen Thousand and no/loo ($14,000.00) Dollars uJith money trans-
ferred from Unappropriated Account 510 to Management Contingency
Account 419.6 for said payment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT in behalf cf the pecple of
the City of Wheat Ridge the Mayar issue an expression of appreciation
for this assistance during the city's infancy.
