HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution-1970-0059 RESOLUTION NO. 59 Series of 1970 WHEREAS, the City of Wheat Ridge had to have a Com- prehensive Plan before it could adopt zoning by ordinance for the benefit of the City and its residents, WHEREAS, the City adopted and used the Jefferson County Comprehensive Plan prepared in April of 1951 by Michael Baker, Jr., Inc. Consulting Engineers and Planners, WHEREAS, in reliance on adopting this Comprehensive Plan, the City adopted a zoning ordinance and made reference therein to said Comprehensive Plan, WHEREAS, the City has relied on this Comprehensive Plan as a master plan for the growth and development of the City, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Wheat Ridge intends to use and to continue to use in the future the Jefferson County Comprehensive Plan of 1961 until a new master plan can be prepared by the City and placed in effect as soon as it is reasonably possible so to do.
