RESOLUTION NO. (.' C
Series of 1970
WHEREAS, the citizens of Wheat Ridge are of the
opinion that sufficient arterial streets already exist
in Wheat Ridge;
WHEREAS, the proposed "Front Range" Freeway
would parallel two major highways at Kipling and create
a serious traffic situation;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that an alternate
route around the city of Wheat Ridge be designated for
the Front Range Freeway if in fact the Highway is
justified;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this council go on
record as opposing the construction of the Front Range
Freeway as it affects the Wheat Ridge area.
