RESOLUTION NO. 165
Series of 1972
WHEREAS, under Title VII of the Housing Act of 1951, as
amendBd, the United States of America (herein called the "Govern-
mBnt") has tendered to THE CITY OF WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO
(herein callBd thB "Public Bod\f") a proposed Contract for Grant to
Acquire and/or Develop Land for Open-Space Purposes under which the
GovernmBnt agrees to make a Grant to the Public 80d\f to aid in
financing a project, designated Project No. OSA-CO-OB-OO-0053
and
WHEREAS the Public Bod\f has given due consideration to said
proposed Contract; and
WHEREAS the Public BodV is dul\f authorized, under and
pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of Colorado
to undBrtake and carry out said Project and to execute such proposed
Contract:
BE IT RESOLVED BY The City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge,
Colorado AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The proposed Contract, designated "Contract for
Grant to Acquire and/or Develop land for Open-Space Purposes, Contract
No. DEN-IB4," consisting of Parts I and II, under and subject to the
provisions, terms and conditions of which the Government will make an
Open-Space Land Acquisition and/or Development Grant under Title VII
of the Housing Act of 1961, as amended, to the Public Body to aid in
financing thB cost of a project, designated Project No. OSA-CO-OB-
00-0053 , situated in Wheat Ridge, Colorado , is hereb\f
in all respects approved.
Section 2. The Mavor is hereby authorized and
directed to execute said proposBd Contract in four counterparts
on behalf of the Public Body, and the City Cle~k is hereby
authorized and directed to impress and attest the official seal of the
Public Body on each such counterpart and to forward such counterparts
to thB DBpartment of Housing and Urban Development, together with such
other documents relative to the approval and execution thereof as may
be required bV the Government.
Section 3. The Mayor of this Public Bod\f is hereby
authorized to file requisitions, together with necessar\f supporting
documents, with the Government, from time to time as Grant Funds are
required, requesting pa\fments to be made to it on account of the Grant
provided for in the Contract, and to do and perform all other things
and acts required to be done or performed in order to obtain such
pa\fments.

Section 4. The Public Body agrees to abide by all of the
provisions, terms and conditions of said Contract.
Section 5. This Resolution shall take effect this 6th
day of
April
