RESOLUTION NO. 174
Series of 1972
WHEREAS, the resignation of Richard D. MacRav8Y, who has been
Executive Director of the Colorado Municipal League for the past
seven years, has been tendered; and
WHEREAS, through his efforts, favorable legislation has been
achieved which has been of major benefit to this City; and
WHEREAS, "Dick" and the League organization have given valuable
technical assistance to the City of Wheat Ridge which allowed the
City to organize in an orderly fashion following incorporation; and
WHEREAS, he has directed his constant attention to the eV8r-
growing problems of urban life and has used foresight concerning the
problems of the future which must be recognized today if we are to
cope with them tomorrow; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wheat Ridge, Colorado
wishes to commend Richard D. MacRavey for his services to this City
and to the membership of the Colorado Municipal League,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Wheat Ridge, Colorado THAT:
1. The City Council does hereby commend Richard D. MacRavey
for his valuable services and faithful efforts as
Executive Director of the Colorado Municipal League
for the past seven years.
2. The City Council thanks Richard D. MacRavey for the
special services that he has rendered to this City.
